Grace Makena our room steward and masseuse at Tassia Lodge. Dressed in the traditional attire of the Maasai, you wouldn't think she wasn't part of the community. Makena came to Tassia Lodge at the young age of 19 years old looking for a job and ended up settling there. She has completely blended in and even speaks the language fluently.
Makena is married and a mother to two children. She has worked at Tassia Lodge since 2010
Her favorite thing about working at Tassia Lodge is getting to meet and interact with different people from all over the world.
